Mom Corps’ advisory board consists of successful and distinguished educators, professionals and entrepreneurs, who provide guidance and advice to the company and serve as a sounding board for the management team.
Board Members:
Mr. H. Inman Allen has led, since 1995, the strategic transformation of Ivan Allen from an office products company into a focused enterprise serving the interior space and furnishing needs of major southeastern businesses. Prior to this, he was President of the Inman Company.
Mr. Allen is active in the Atlanta community and has served as a board member of many local organizations, including the Henry W. Grady Foundation, Woodruff Arts Center, The Atlanta Historical Society, Egleston Children's Hospital (now Atlanta Children's Health Care System) (Chairman), Berry College (Chairman), Atlanta College of Art (Chairman), and Leadership Georgia (Chairman). Mr. Allen also serves as Chairman of Haas and Dodd Realty Company.
Mr. Allen graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1963 with a B.A. in political science. He attended the Emory University Business and Law schools from 1964 to 1967 and served three years of active duty in the United States Army from 1967 to 1970.
Myra Hart's research and teaching focus on high potential entrepreneurship with an emphasis on the development of critical resources and relationships. She is a member of the Diana Group, a research team of five professors who collaborate in the investigation of the unique challenges and opportunities of female entrepreneurs.
Prior to joining the faculty of Harvard Business School, Hart worked in the retail industry. In 1985, she joined Tom Stemberg as one of the four founding officers of Staples, the Office Superstore. Prior to that she was Director of Marketing for Star Market, a division of Jewel Companies.
She is director of the Center for Women's Business Research, a trustee of Cornell University, a member of the President's Council of Cornell Women. She is a director of several public and private companies including Royal Ahold, eCornell, Office Depot, and Nina McLemore, Inc. Harvard Business School has recognized Professor Hart with the Apgar Award for innovation in teaching and the Greenhill Award for faculty leadership. She has been named to the Hall of Fame by Enterprising Women, CEO (Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization) and New England Business and Technology Association.
Mr. Levy is an accomplished university law professor, as well as a published author. He is a member of the California and New York Bar Associations and practiced law for 24 years before he began teaching. Mr. Levy is a former consultant to the Native Hawaiian Legal Corporation, the Hawaiian Coalition of Native Claims, and the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii.
Mr. Levy specializes in public interest and human issues, torts practiced with California Indian Legal Services and California Rural Legal Assistance. He founded and co-edited the California Tort Reporter and the periodical Federal Litigator as well as co-edited a six volume treatise, California Torts.
Neil Levy graduated from Cornell University with a degree in history and graduated from law school at the University of Chicago in 1966.
Patrick Taylor is the CEO and founder of Oversight Systems. In addition, Mr. Taylor is a respected information security industry insider who has served in various product management and strategic marketing roles with Internet Security Systems and Symantec. Patrick is also a seasoned start-up company professional with additional companies such companies as Red Brick Systems, GO, Air2Web and Fast-Talk.
As a thought leader in continuous monitoring, Patrick has spoken at several compliance and audit industry conferences from organizations, such as the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Patrick is a frequent speaker at conferences, such as RSA, Networld + Interop, Comdex, NetSec and the Goldman Sachs Information Technology Conference.
Patrick has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
