Our client, one of the leading interactive agencies in the U.S. is searching for an Account Director.
The Account Director plays a critical strategic and client service role and:
Is responsible for day-to-day management
Often manages clients with minimal involvement by the VP/Director of the group
Manages several digital marketing projects simultaneously within each brand engagement
Has a strong strategic orientation and takes the lead developing brand and program strategies for or working with clients
Proactively, naturally and intuitively provides both industry (telecom & technology) and digital marketing insights/best practices and thought-leadership to clients
Has an entrepreneurial mindset – recognizes opportunities to grow the business and partners with the VP/Director of the group to deepen existing relationships
Manages junior-level staff and manages laterally working closely and productively with Creative, Technology, Media and Research functions
Is accountable for the delivery of best-in-class client service, flawless execution and stringent project and budgetary management
Will support new business development efforts working with the VP/Director
Qualifications and Skills:
7 years account services experience in a marketing or advertising agency or marketing services provider
5 years experience working in digital marketing (either agency or client-side) executing at least 3 of the following:
Web Site Development/Redesign
Digital Media Strategy/Campaigns
Search Engine Marketing (SEO + Paid Search)
eMail/eCRM Campaigns
Online Promotions
Experience with social media, mobile marketing, eDetailing or eSampling
3 years Telecom or Technology experience (either agency or client-side) preferred
Job Type: Full-Time Flexible

Travel Requirements: Willing to travel 1-3 days/month
