Description: Blackwave, Inc., an early stage growing technology company located in Acton MA, is looking for a part time (20 hours a week) Accounts Payable, Payroll and Benefits Administrator. Primary responsibilities will include processing of accounts payable and payroll and benefits administration.
Responsibilities will include: • Processing accounts payable ensuring accurate entry, necessary approvals and distribution to correct general ledger accounts • Reconcile vendor statement balances as invoices are processed • Process weekly check runs • Generate purchase orders in accordance with company policies/requirements • Receive items against purchase orders • 3 way match of PO, invoices and packing slips • Process payroll using ADP web based HRB solution • Manage year end payroll processing • Responsible for benefits and COBRA administration ensuring enrollments and terminations are processed on time. Includes enrollments, terminations and changes for medical, dental, vision, Life LTD, and AD&D • Audit travel and expense reports ensuring receipts are attached and expenditures incurred agree with company policy • Bank account reconciliations • Prepare some balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations • Record general ledger entries
Qualifications • Associates degree minimum is required • Attention to detail and accuracy, conscientious, strong work ethic to produce high quality, error free work, on time • Ability to multi task • Advanced excel skills-must have working knowledge of advanced excel functions and pivot tables • Experience with QuickBooks • Willing to work in the office rather than remotely • Compensation is $35 per hour |
