Responsibilities:
The Project Manager will own the entire project plan and be able to construct extensive amount of tasks with proper dependencies, critical path and resource leveling. The Project Manager must be able to calculate and communicate how task milestone additions, changes and resource changes specifically impact the plan and critical path, resource leveling. Must be able to communicate and manage all tasks, critical path and resource leveling. Must be able to drive a diverse team of analysts, developers and testers for tasks, updates, status and issues to the plan. Must create and present various management level reports and views regarding tasks, critical path, milestones, resources and issues.
Education:
Bachelors Degree in MIS, Computer Science or Mathematics preferred with a minimum of 8 years of Project Management experience in enterprise IT projects.
Skills and Requirements:
Expertise in large scale IT project plan construction using Microsoft Project
Expertise in building task dependencies with critical path and resource leveling
Excellent communication skills to actively manage tasks, milestones, resources, dependencies and deliverables
Ability to organize meetings and presentations to communicate project plan status, risks and action items
Ability to manage and categorize project level issues list, owner and delivery dates
Minimum 8+ years in large scale IT Project PM role
Extensive experience operating and/or leading a PMO in a software development environment
*Extensive experience in the Financial Services industry required*
PMP certification highly desired
