Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in accounting or finance
Active CPA Certification
6+ years prior work experience as a CPA
Significant supervisory experience (2 years plus)
Experience preparing individual, business, benefit fund, real estate and exempt organization tax returns
Non-profit experience highly desired
Strong accounting and analytical skills
Strong computer skills: proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate technical tax issues with non-tax people
Detail oriented
Ability to multi-task

Responsibilities:

-Helps to develop and guide staff and other junior tax professionals by providing effective performance feedback and ensuring team responsibilities are consistent with skills and developmental goals
-Builds new and existing client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client business
-Preparation and review of federal and state income taxes for individuals, businesses, benefit fund, real estate, and exempt organizations
-Prepares internal memoranda, written products provided to clients, private letter rulings and other documents for submission to the IRS or Treasury Department
-Proactively seeks opportunities to provide tax services
-Trains junior levels and reviews and evaluates their work
-Manages multiple clients, budgets and production goals
-Provides assistance to Partner in meeting internal and external deadlines and upper management requests
