After receiving the green light to launch an exciting new interactive start-up business, fully funded by the parent company, The Weather Channel contacted Mom Corps to help them create and execute a high-level marketing strategy without the cost of hiring a full-time individual. Mom Corps immediately placed an experienced professional who worked on all aspects of the project from design to execution of the plan. When a local Accounting Firm was short of managers and overwhelmed with audits during tax season 2005, the firm contacted Mom Corps to find a cost-effective, dedicated, temporary staffing solution. There were almost 100 audits of properties, each requiring a manager review and taking approximately 3 hours to complete. Considering a full-time manager’s rate of $250/hour, the total cost to the client would be $75,000 and 300 hours opportunity cost. The client contracted with Mom Corps to pay $400/review which not only freed up internal resources and helped alleviate the workload during tax season, but also created a savings opportunity of $35,000 and 300 manager hours.

Part-time Permanent Placement Solution
As the full-time controller of a technology company working more than 40 hours a week, one Mom Corps candidate with two children, ages 3 and 5, was searching for a balance between career and family. She was desperate to be available to her children in the afternoons and evenings, and while she could sacrifice her pay, she still needed to make a consistent salary. Meanwhile, a small technology company was in need of a part-time controller to assist the CFO for approximately 20 hours a week. LendingTree, LLC: Team Mom Project Management
Having completed multiple acquisitions in recent years, LendingTree, LLC needed over 600 job descriptions to be reconciled within its current organization chart. Mom Corps provided a "Team Mom" consisting of five exceptional candidates eager to tackle the project. Under the direction of one candidate who served as the Project Manager, "Team Mom" wrote (or rewrote) job descriptions as needed, converted all 600 to a standard template, and then streamlined descriptions across numerous departments. "Team Mom" completed the project entirely on its own and within just four short weeks.
